Select Energy Services Bolster’s Bakken Presence And Water Solutions Capabilities Through Acquisition Of International Western Flowback 

(Houston, TX)  – October 4, 2011 – Select Energy Services, LLC (“Select”), a water solutions and oilfield service company headquartered in Houston, Texas, announced today the acquisition of International Western Flowback, LLC. (“IWF”), a flowback company operating in Williston, North Dakota, and Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

The acquisition of IWF provides Select with a unique solution to best manage extreme weather conditions in the North Dakota area.  IWF has engineered specialized flowback units designed to withstand freezing temperatures thereby allowing them to maintain drilling and production activities during the winter months. Additionally, the acquisition of IWF expands Select’s presence in the rapidly growing Bakken region and extends Select’s water solutions offerings in the region to include well testing in addition to water sourcing and water transfer services.
