Select Energy Services Companies Unite Under One Brand

(Houston, TX) – November 19, 2013 – Select Energy Services, LLC (Select), today announced that all Select-owned companies will undergo a name change and will now operate under the Select Energy Services brand.  Following the company’s launch in 2008, Select entered a period of rapid growth, both organically and through acquisition. Since its inception, Select has acquired or invested in 34 companies and technologies that have added to its capabilities; many retained the name under which they were acquired.  The rebranding goal is to create a unified image; demonstrating Select’s broad capabilities across the oil and gas water spectrum.

“Our customers are recognizing that Select Energy Services can provide strategic water management solutions from sourcing to disposal,” said John Schmitz, Select Energy Services CEO. “This change will create a more dominant and recognizable presence in the oil and gas industry and will continue to position Select as the leader in strategic water management solutions.”

Overall, the name change will be applied to 14 companies. Among these are Alice Southern Equipment, Impact Energy Services, International Western Company, Tejas Oilfield Service, and Select Tank Trucks.  An exception is the former Select subsidiary, Peak Oilfield Services, which now functions as a standalone company under its current name.
