Water Rescue Services Receives Texas Railroad Commission Permit for Mobile Recycling Systems for the Oil & Gas Industry

(HOUSTON)—March 26, 2012 – Water Rescue Services Holdings, LLC, a Fort-Worth, Texas-based provider of water treatment and recycling technology to the oil and gas industry, today announced that it has received approval from the Railroad Commission of Texas to operate a mobile recycling system for the purpose of recycling produced and flow-back water created through hydraulic fracturing process during oil and gas operations.

“Receiving a permit to operate a mobile recycling unit is a monumental step for us as a company,” said Wes Williams, President of Water Rescue Services.  “Only a handful of companies meet the stringent requirements to recycle flow-back and produced water, which allows for substantial gains in efficiency while performing on location. We believe our customers with active Texas drilling operations will enjoy a significant market advantage when utilizing Water Rescue’s mobile treatment technology to recycle water on site, thus lowering costs and saving time through this recycling process,” said Williams.

Water Rescue Services recently signed a strategic alliance with Select Energy Services, LLC, (SES) a leading water solutions and oilfield services company with operations in all major shale plays in North America.  The agreement gave Select access to a versatile and mobile water treatment and recycling technology through Water Rescue’s electro-coagulation units, while Water Rescue gained exposure into new markets and geographical areas.

“Water Rescue Services’ permit approval further enables Select to offer our customers a complete water solutions package that approaches water treatment in an environmentally responsible and economical fashion,” said John Schmitz, Select’s CEO.
