Select CEO John Schmitz appointed Chairman of DEPA

The Domestic Energy Producers Alliance (DEPA) announced today the appointment of Select CEO, John Schmitz as Chairman of the Executive Committee. The Domestic Energy Producers Alliance is a nationwide collaboration of 39 coalition associations from across the United States that are actively engaged in advancing policy to address the challenges of domestic energy production.

Mr. Schmitz has been a member of the executive committee as a director since the organization’s formation. As lifelong entrepreneur, he has founded and developed numerous successful businesses in the oil and gas industry including Select Energy Services, HEP Oil Company, Complete Production Services, Axis Energy Services, Endurance Lift Solutions and Bell Supply. He will serve alongside Harold Hamm, Executive Chairman, and Jerry Simmons, President and CEO as well as the 12 directors on the executive committee.
