Select Energy Services Implements Employee Safety Recognition Program
Program developed to enforce safety culture and recognize individual safety achievements
(Houston, TX) – May 6, 2016 – Select Energy Services, LLC (Select), today announced the development and implementation of a new Safety Recognition Program for its field personnel. The program will recognize individuals that strive to maintain a safe work environment.
“We know that safety is a personal commitment; hence our safety slogan, It Starts With Me,” said Carlos Lujan, vice president of HSSE and DOT for Select Energy Services. “The Safety Recognition Program aims to enforce our safety culture and provide our employees with an outlet for setting and achieving personal safety goals, which will improve our company wide commitment to safety practices. Such commitment will be recognized in a big way. ”
The program’s policy states that field personnel who demonstrate a personal commitment to safety through a positive track record and/or individual actions will be recognized and presented with an official Safety medallion. There are 5 levels of Safety medallions and each level recognizes employees who exhibit safe work practices, but higher level medallions require complete dedication and commitment to safety excellence. Team members who collect all 5 medallions in a single calendar year are entered into a raffle for a brand new pickup truck, courtesy of the company.
